Still life Perhaps when the drawing of a specific fruit, everyday objects, game or other things began to be defined in this way, no one could have possibly guessed what “Still Life” would be today . Giorgio Morandi painted his compositions where the subjects were glass bottles, terracotta vases and enamel iron jugs. Plastic had not invaded the world yet. My “Still Life” painting, where natural things have been substituted by objects made of plastic, assume a tragic meaning today because plastic is really killing nature.
